From the parish church Wiesing walk through the underpass of the Achensee federal road. Continue to the district “Fischl” and follow the ascending path to Eben am Achensee. Above the steam cog railway station and after crossing the Achensee main road the path leads to the “Astenau Alpe” mountain hut. The trail meanders uphill through sparse pine forest and after some bends reaches the “Astenau Alpe” mountain hut. Follow the somewhat steep track through mountain pines until you reach a junction. From there walk along the steep track on the right until you reach the summit of the “Ebner Joch”. Take the same route to return to Wiesing.
