Earth, fire, water and air are the elements of life. They shape our perception of the world in which we live; indeed, they shape our entire way of thinking and feeling. Without them, there would be no life. The division of the world into the four elements earth, fire, water and air is an ancient principle. All creatures, including human beings, are composed of four elements. Even the Greek philosophers gave much thought to the various elements and debated, above all, as to which element was the source of the others. This hike offers us a unique insight into the four elements from the viewpoint of a nature expert. The animals and the plants make use of the four elements for themselves and as their natural habitat. Join us and discover some fascinating aspects of ecology, learn about the amazing adaptations made by living organisms and explore the richness of nature that exists right here on our doorstep.
