From the Lamsenjochhütte (1,953 metres), follow the trail towards the east face of the Lamsenspitze. First walk along a ridge and then across the gravel field. Continue via the Brudertunnel up to the Lamsenscharte. From here, walk over scree in a northwesterly direction until you reach a gully. Follow the trail as it climbs first along fixed ropes and then via switchbacks to the summit cross of the Lamsenspitze (2,508 metres).
To descend, follow the route you took on the ascent. At the Lamsenscharte, keep left and follow the trail. Walk across the Gramaier Grund in the direction of the Gramai Alm and continue along the hiking trail to the Falzthurnalm. From here, take the asphalt section back to Pertisau and the valley station of the Karwendel cable car. Alternatively, you can take the vintage bus (Nostalgiebus - service suspended since August 2025) from the Gramai Alm to Pertisau.
