A challenging tour with 513 meters of elevation gain over a total of 24.2 kilometers.
We start the tour at the Häselgehr outdoor pool. The tour is immediately challenging as we ride uphill to the Auszeit village of Gramais. The smallest community in Austria (refreshment stops available). At the start of Gramais, we take a direct right down to the bridge. At the bridge, turn left along the main road back to Häselgehr. CAUTION! There are buses and motorcycles!!!
Once in Häselgehr, we cross the main road and continue straight ahead onto a dirt road. We follow this dirt road straight ahead, over the Gstreimbach bridge to the nature park house in Elmen. Now we cross the Klimmbrücke bridge and cycle left along the cycle path back to Häselgehr. On the home stretch, we cross the bridge and return to our starting point.
The challenging route can be completed in approx. 2:00 hours if you are in good shape. In general, due to the length of the route and the altitude difference to be overcome, a very good level of fitness is required.
