Parking 500 m after the village church in Gschnitz into the valley on the right side (free of charge). From there, cross the road and the Gschnitzbach to the south and after 300 m to the right on the forest road to the west. Follow this forest road, after about another kilometer you go downhill again towards the road and the Gschnitzbach for a few meters. At the road cross the Gschnitzbach again to its north side and immediately turn left again. Continue slightly uphill for 1 km on the forest road and then, at the signpost, turn sharply right and climb steeply uphill to the Innsbrucker Hütte. At about 2000 m above sea level, the trail goes over a shoulder onto a flatter passage, from there the destination, the Innsbrucker Hütte, is already clearly visible.
