The highest farmhouse in Bad Hofgastein, the Planitzengut, lies on the sunny side of Gastein Valley. In earlier times, it was only possible to reach this farm with the help of a small cable lift – today, however, a beautiful road leads all the way up there, also an outstanding opportunity for a leisurely hike. The start is just above the Annen Café. The views from this beautiful spot of the towns of Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein are magnificent. The hike down takes us via the Gadaunerergraben and the famous Höhenweg back to Bad Hofgastein.
