Trail description: From Niederau, the Markbachjochbahn takes riders to the top for their first downhill section of the day taking in numerous hairpin corners along the Grafenweg down to Hopfgarten and the middle station of the Hohe Salve cable car.
After ascending 200 vertical metres to the top, riders speed down into the Brixental Valley. Down in the valley cross the main road (Bundesstraße) and cycle uphill on the other side of the valley as far as Westendorf. The bottom station of the Alpenrosenbahn cable car in the centre of Westendorf, is well signposted.
