The 215 km long RemstalWeg offers you a special highlight, giving you a good impression of the vast landscape diversity of the Remstal. The route promises hiking enjoyment in eleven stages with magnificent views from the hills and halfway up into the Remstal. It leads you north and south of the Rems through vast vineyards and forest areas, orchards, historic towns, and charming villages.
The main artery is the Rems, which appears repeatedly - from its source in Essingen on the Swabian Ostalb to Remseck on the Neckar, where the Rems finally flows into.
Along the way, you will find numerous inns and wine taverns. After a refreshment, you can explore the historic towns and villages along the Remstal tour.
The trail is consistently marked with yellow signs featuring a blue infinity symbol, the emblem of the Remstal.
To earn the bronze badge, you need to collect 13 points (Stage 1-5), for silver 24 points (Stage 1-8), and for the golden badge 36 points (entire route, Stage 1-11).
