The Trainsjoch is a popular summit on the Tyrolean-Bavarian border, located exactly between Bayrischzell and Thiersee. The summit can be approached from three directions: via the Fritz-Koeber Trail, from the direction of the Oberaudorfer Almen, or via the Trainssattel from the Trockenbachtal. Therefore, it is very popular and frequently hiked.
