Inntal's longest side valley is home to eight holiday villages so called Haiming, Sautens, Oetz, Umhausen, Längenfeld, Sölden, Gurgl and Vent. No matter if leisurely hikes to rustic mountain huts or some tours to exciting points of interest, the Ötztal has a lot to offer. Quick hikes to alpine pastures and idyllic mountain lakes know how to fascinate, as well as ambitious multi-day hikes to one of the 250 peaks higher than three thousand meters. Endless 1600 km of trails, routes, paths and treks are waiting to be discovered by everyone. Culinary delights are provided by approximately 100 mountain huts and alpine pastures. Typical Tyrolean hospitality and traditional delicacies are waiting for you. As a member of the Austrian Hiking Villages the Ötztal was awarded with the Austrian hiking seal of approval.
