The hike to the Kögerlalm starts in the centre of Dorfgastein. At the hiking starting point in Unterberg, you hike along the Bärenweg trail to the Amoseralm. From there, the trail continues through a dense mixed forest to the Huberalm. The historic forest crossing with chapel can already be guessed, but not yet seen. The Drei Waller Chapel, an ancient place of pilgrimage, is located on this pass at 1,425 metres. Pioneers and explorers once enjoyed this unique view of the Gastein Valley, which is closed off on all sides. From there you can reach the Kögerlam in approx. 15 minutes. The view of the expansive Salzach Valley is impressive.
