This hike starts in the town center of Bad Gastein. Next to the church called P"reimkirche you take the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Promenade and follow it in the direction of Grüner Baum in the Kötschachtal. Shortly before you get there, take the Hardtweg / Graukogel turnoff. The trail leads you along the mountain in the lower third of the Graukogel until you reach the Windischgrätzhöhe. From there, the descent is via the road or the forest path. Then take the waterfall trail, which will bring you back to your starting point.
