Hocheggalm

The Tyrolean-style hut Hochegg-Alm (1,545 m) is located right on the forest path, about halfway up to the Rosshütte mid-station. It has a large sun terrace for a great view over the region and it is the perfect spot to stop and enjoy some typical Tyrolean treats, a refreshing drink or even a small schnaps. It has its own little play area where children can enjoy themselves while their parents have a well-earned rest. The small lake, the Kaltwassersee, is only a 10-minute walk away and you can easily walk around it or sit on one of the benches and simply enjoy the majestic mountains all around.
