The Luser waterfall is a real insider and secret tip. The waterfall inspires you with its natural beauty and with the untouched diversity of nature. The clear mountain water lets the landscape blossom in lush green and thus offers a unique interplay of water and nature. In addition, during your hike along the Luser waterfall you will pass the archaeological trail, a cultural highlight from the late Roman period. Signposts and explanatory panels tell you about life almost 2,000 years ago. In the beginning of the Migration Period, a refuge castle was built on the Burgstall in Rössing-Ramsau as protection against enemy raids. Excavations have unearthed rich evidence of life in this settlement.
