Seit 1962 zeigt der Wildpark auf rund 60 ha Fläche allerlei Sollingtypisches: bunte Mischwälder, alten Baumbestand – und natürlich viele heimische Wildarten wie Wölfe, Lüchse und Wildkatzen. Das angrenzende WildparkHaus dient als Solling-Besucherzentrum inkl. Café/Bistro „Rotwild“.
